The Remington F3790 Dual Foil Electric Shaver is Remingtons entry level electric foil shaver.

The Remington F3790 Electric Shaver is an ok looking electric shaver; it is fairly light and lies comfortably enough in the hand to allow for comfortable shaving. The switches, trimmer and socket are not brilliantly placed on the shaver however but considering its low price thats not the end of the world.

The Remington F3790 Electric Shaver is a dual foil shaver, meaning it has two foils covering your face and offering more opportunities for stubble to be caught and trimmed. The foils on the Remington F3790 Electric Shaver are flexible which is supposed to help maintain contact with your skin at all angles and therefore provide you with a more comfortable and faster shave.

This shaver does an acceptable job of trimming short stubble which means it is fine for using on a daily basis. However if you have very fast, thick growth then this may not be the perfect shaver for you. The Remington F3790 Electric Shaver really struggles with a couple of days growth and you will find yourself going over the same areas time and time again, resulting in a much longer shave than expected. You may also have to use the pop up trimmer to cut the hairs first before shaving normally.
A good point is however that it does have a pop up trimmer which means you can easily style around sideburns and beards.

Regarding the battery life of the Remington F3790 Electric Shaver, its not too bad. Offering a 40 minutes of shaving when fully charged it compares favourably to say the Series 1 shavers by Braun which only offer 30 minutes of shaving on a full charge.

This is convenient for going on holiday and business trips as you can rest assured that the battery will last for a t least a weeks worth of shaving without having to be recharged.

When you do get round to recharging you will notice that the time for a full recharge is a whopping 16 hours. That is longer than most other shavers on the market so youll really have to leave it over night and them some for it to fully charge.

The shaver doesnt have a quick charge function, however that isnt really to be expected on a shaver at this sort of level. It isnt washable under a tap which is a bit of a disappointment seeing as most other shavers on the market are. The Remington F3790 Electric Shaver does however come with a brush to help keep it clean.

Overall this is a decent entry level electric shaver and if you can get past the 16 hour charging time it has a good battery life for the price range that it is in.
