An Overview

When it comes to men’s grooming, Braun has firmly carved its way into the market by developing innovative electric shavers that uphold the mantra of quality, performance and reliability. The innovation and design commonly associated with Braun really start to reveal themselves with the Series 3 shavers, which are inherently more technical and have increased functionality. Achieving a clean and smooth shave is both an art and a science and Braun have demonstrated their understanding of both in the Series 3 range. For starters, the embedded SensoFoil is shaped and designed to get closer to the skin while still being gentle. This coupled with the triple-action cutting and floating system means that short, long and flat hairs are all removed in one go. Convenience is taken one step further with the Series 3 range as two of the shavers in this range are “wet and dry” shavers meaning that you have the option of shaving in the shower with a gel or foam. Cleaning is taken to a new level in the Series 3 range (and the later ranges) as each shaver comes with a Clean & Renew System whereby the shaver is cleaned with an alcohol-based cleaner to ensure hygiene and ultimately the longevity of your shaver.

But it does not stop there as the Series 5 range of shavers heightens the shaving experience through the addition of more functionality and flexibility. What most distinguishes the Series 5 shavers from the Series 3 shavers is the Patented ActiveLift trimmer that is embedded within the blade system on Series 5 shavers. This trimmer moves 130 times per second and is designed to proactively lift any flat-lying hair that may otherwise escape the blades. This function is particularly useful around the neck area where reaching hair is notoriously difficult. In addition to this, Series 5 shavers have a 33 degree pivoting head, enabling the shaver to follow your neck and jaw line giving you an excellent and consistent shave.

Last but not leats, the Series 7 range is the latest to be launched by Braun and boasts further innovation and development which set this range apart from other shavers on the market. It goes without saying that the Series 7 shavers come with the ActiveLift trimmer and pivoting head as a standard but it is the added sonic technology that distinguiishes this shaver from its predecessors. This intuitve technology means that Series 7 shavers can micro-vibrate up to 10,000 times a minute. More than this, the shaver micro-vibrations will automatically adjust to the density of the hair on your face, ensuring that each hair is cut with the right amount of power. This in turn will ensure a close shave every time. When it comes to charging, a 1 hour charge will give you 50 minutes of cordless shaving time which could be as long as two weeks depending on how often you shave.
